An untried duo made up of Portuguese ace Miguel Ramos and 22-year-old rookie Alexander Negraõ secured a spectacular second place in the second round of the FIA GT International Championship today in Monza.
The result moves the other Vitaphone Racing team into a good position in terms of the title. Meanwhile car no. 1 with, Andrea Bertolini and Michael Bartels on board, finished in fifth place. The pairing closed out well a difficult weekend featuring Saturday's poor qualification and a burst back tyre during the 13th lap.
This fifth place sees Bertolini and Bartels occupy second spot in the championship, just three points off the leaders. Vitaphone Racing Team leads the Team standings.
