Things seemed easy enough before the race got underway: a top six finish would be enough to see off the challenge of their rivals Mike Hezemans and Fabrizio Gollin. Still, it is on such days when concentration levels need to be top-draw to avoid making mistakes. It was a race on a timeless track; resembling a city circuit and completely new for the drivers. The season ended in the best of ways for the Vitaphone Racing Team as they proved they showed how organised they were and that they had a talent for selecting the right race strategy.
