Andrea Bertolini: «It was an exciting and important race for us. After yesterday's difficult qualifying races we ran the risk of giving too much leeway to our adversaries. Instead, the team reacted brilliantly, working hard and offering me a competitive car. It was hard to overtake all those GT2s in front of me but I was able to move up from 15th position up to 5th, then Michael Bartels put the finishing touch to the result».
Michael Bartels: «After yesterday's qualifying, if someone had asked me then to sign for second place, I would have had no qualms. Near the end after I had overtaken Peter I got closer to Sharp, I felt the car would have supported me, I could have attacked him to win, but there wasn't enough time».
Alexander Negrao: «I am really pleased at how my debut in the MC12 went today at Silverstone. I was a bit worried about the rolling start which was a novelty for me but, in the end, I handled it well. I drove quite well too and came into the pits for the driver change in fifth; my objective after Saturday's qualifying session. Then Ramos' clash with another driver compromised the outcome a little and we had a few regrets about it. Now we have a month's break until Monza but I will be turning out once again for the Brazil team in the A1 GP at Brands Hatch. I think that racing in a single-seater is important in terms of picking up race speed and rhythm».
Miguel Ramos: «On the first lap of my stint I pulled alongside another car to overtake it on the straight but we touched and my MC12 partly ended up on the grass. I managed to keep things under control and get the car back onto the track. The tyres were dirty and, I think, the aerodynamics were damaged as I went into the closing stages of the race. In the end, it was a good result and useful in that it improved on our qualifying position. The team and the car were very competitive. We can only get better and we will show how much we have improved at Monza».
