The GranTurismo MC continues its apprenticeship
Casé/Sbirrazzuoli’s GranTurismo MC, after it was put through a balance of performance test by Moellekens (an official series driver), claimed the fourth best time in its class of 2:41.188 (12th overall). The test followed the one that took place in the first practice session and reduced the time needed for the two drivers to get to know the car and track.
The two team Giudici Maserati Trofeos had no problems and came in tenth with Gianni Giudici (2:44.332, 28th overall) and fourteenth courtesy of Andrea Perlini (2:49.867, 34th overall).

GranTurismo MC relishes the rain
The demanding session was interrupted for thirteen minutes when a red flag was shown. This came out because there was an elevated risk of the cars aquaplaning. Owing to the conditions and wanting to avoid causing any damage, the AF Corse team had run just six laps. During this stint, the GranTurismo MC had set the fourth best time in its class (3:04.375); seventh overall as the Dutch GT4s also compete alongside the GT4 entrants.
Appearing on the Ardennes track were two Maserati Trofeos modified to run in GT4. The cars were driven by Gianni Giudici, who closed in 12th spot (25th overall) and Andrea Perlini, 14th (32nd overall).
Little could be gauged from the session because of the rain and the cars still have to find their racing set up for what will be a challenging race.
