Warm Up in the wet at Spa, ninth best time for Bartels/Bertolini

After Thursday's rain and yesterday's sun, this morning the track surface was wet again during the warm up.

The session was run ahead of the fifth round of the FIA GT1 World Championship, held at the Belgian circuit of Spa.

The Vitaphone Racing Team and the Triple H Team Hegersport used the session to test various set ups and tyres ahead of today's 12.05 Championship Race. A lot of work was done on Bartels/Bertolini's Maserati MC12 after yesterday's crash. The incident meant that they couldn't finish the Qualifying Race or test race set ups. The Maserati ran nine laps and set the ninth quickest time, just edging the car ahead of the No.33 Triple H Team Hegersport MC12. The teams' other cars are further down the pack.
