Different set ups and tyre combinations were run through on the Maserati MC12s and all gave positive results in another confirmation of the good feeling and competitiveness the car shows at Brno.

The No.1 Maserati MC12, driven by Bartels/Bertolini, closed out the session with the sixth best time of 1:57.888, just ahead of the other Vitaphone Racing Team car crewed by Bernoldi/Ramos.
A little further back is the No.33 Maserati MC12, with the Heger/Margaritis duo at the wheel, which stopped the clock at 1:58.035 - good enough for ninth. The second, No.34, Triple H Team Hegersport Maserati took eighteenth place courtesy of Bobbi/Longin. They posted a time of 1:59.034.

The Championship Race will get underway today at 14.15.
