"It seems that I ought to get used to second place. Race 2 was very different from Race 1: it was more difficult because I had to keep an eye on Pat and then Necchi were going for it just behind me. I had a few problems with my tyres and they weren't as predictable as they were in the morning. Even so, I am very pleased with second place. It is always a pleasure racing a Maserati and doing so at Brands Hatch is special".
