"I didn't want to take too many risks at the start and so let a few cars past. I started my comeback straight away and slowly climbed into fourth place after a duel with Smurra. I turned up the pressure on him and tried to induce an error. In the end Smurra tried to overtake Rota but ran off the track twice in the space of 500 metres and I made the most of this to edge past him.

I am very happy with this podium finish as it means I climb the overall standings. I have had my fair share of bad luck in a few races and finished outside the points; now I have to focus on the remaining races to finish the series in a good position".
