Alessandro Chionna - AF Corse (7th overall, 2nd Team): "I was hoping it would go a bit better, especially after things went so well in the last round at Donington. Another reason I had high hopes was that I feel at ease at Valencia; it is a technically demanding circuit and I like it a lot. Unluckily for me, I was caught in a bunch of cars, both in qualifying and in the race, and this didn't allow me to fully show what I could do. Our aim was to manage the overall lead we have on Swiss Team and we managed it".

Daniel Waszcinski - Konvex Racing Team (10th overall, 3rd Team): "I didn't do too badly in free practice or qualifying and so can't complain. I drove to my capabilities. I was happy with my start and, after three laps, I was behind Chionna, second in the Team standings. I tried to catch him but didn't have any luck.

I will try to stay close to the top group in Race 2 to continue improving and build up my experience in this series".
