"I am overjoyed with the win. In all honesty, I was hoping to win after taking second spot in Race 2, even with the time handicap. I managed to edge past Ragazzi at the end and then the safety car appeared and that helped my cause. I am pleased with my performance and this victory, one I dedicate to my team-mate Sicart who isn’t here this weekend".
Riccardo Ragazzi: "Unfortunately I made one error during the entire weekend and it cost me the race, though I have to congratulate Barde on his win. It is disappointing for two reasons: this is the second time that I have lost a race because of the safety car coming on and because it meant that I couldn’t hit back. I am pleased with second spot but would have been even happier with the win".
Alan Simoni: "We can’t say that we are totally happy because we lost out but second place is still a fine result. The race went well, the car was perfect and I felt right at home on this track. It was a shame because it would have been great to get a brilliant result in the USA".
Cedric Sbirrazzuoli: "It was a good race and I have to thank Mathjis for handing over the car in perfect shape. I tried to get past Ragazzi to take the lead but made a couple of mistakes that let Barde through. Still, I am pleased that I made the podium on my Trofeo return".
Mathjis Bakker: "I didn’t cover too many miles on this track and so lacked the reference points that make the difference and would have allowed me to challenge the leaders. So, I opted to avoid any clashes and hand over the car to Cedric in the best possible position. It was great to end up on the podium".
